I spent New Year's Eve and Day in my hometown at my parents together with the family of my sister, and I am glad I have done it, because it was very funny, enjoying and pleasant days.

On New Year's Eve after we have watched "Dinner for One", an English half hour comedy sketch on TV, which is very popular in Germany to watch every New Year's Day, we all together had a big dinner. traditionally we have then fish to eat and so this year, too. Of course, I have eaten again too much so I got a bit stomach aches.

After it, we spent the time till midnight with playing funny games, for example a game called "Pictionary", where somebody has to draw on a sheet of paper a term, and somebody else or all has to guess, what term this might be. This was really not easy, but what should I say. I together with my Niece in a team of course won! :-)) Furthermore we were laughing, singing, dancing and trying to stand on the head.

At midnight we all cheered with a glas of champaign (not me and the kids of course) and embrace one eachother wishing a happy new year. After a little selfmade fireworks outside we continued playing, laughing and so on...
