International Women's Day

"Woman is the Nigger of the World", as John Lennon sang, - and I agree to that. I don't speak only of the exploited and supressed women in Africa or Asia, of the women and girls forced to prostitution and slavery.

I also think of the women in our so-called civilized Western countries. Here women still don't get the same wages for the same work, how many women are in high positions in politics and industry?!

And most of the women still have to work more in household and for the children. There are still too many men, who treat their wives and other women as servants. They don't ask for the needs and wishes of the wife, they only think of their own pleasures.

I think, it isn't as easy to be a woman in our world.
